Port
Pirie is known as the city of friendly people. A well deserved
reputation. But realisticly... there is not a lot of tourist activities
that would make you want to stay for more that a day or two.
BUT
....
within an hour or so drive, there is a great variety of things to see
and do. The mighty Flinders Ranges to the north and east provide a
great backdrop for forests, national parks and lookouts, while to the
south is the Copper Coast, based around Moonta (little Cornwall), home
of the cousin jacks.
